It’s Potato Fest Month at Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes!
Twenty New Delicious Ways to Enjoy Potatoes in Your Town
February 1, 2008 (SAN DIEGO)— Leading national restaurant chain Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes is introducing its Potato Fest Month this February, featuring 20 varieties of delicious potato recipes. By popular guest demand, Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes will offer new potato dishes throughout the month of February, including five new recipes. Potato Fest Month features recipes using sweet potatoes, yams, white and red potatoes.
From February 1 to February 13, menu items include: Bistro Potato Salad; German Potato Salad; Irish Potato Leek Soup; Sweet Potato Corn Chowder; Loaded Baked Potato Soup; Broccoli Cheese Baked Potato; Roasted Potato Focaccia; Baked Potatoes; Sweet Potatoes and, Pineapple Marshmallow Whip.
From February 15 to February 28, menu items will include: Picnic Potato Salad; Provencal Green Bean and Potato Salad; Cream of Rosemary Potato; Golden Yam Bisque; Potato Tomato and Spinach Soup; Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes; Roasted Potato Focaccia; Baked Potatoes; Sweet Potatoes, and Maple Cream.
“Our guests have told us that they want more potato items so we’re dedicating February as Potato Fest Month at their request,” Joan Scharff, executive director of brand and menu items for Garden Fresh Restaurant (parent company to the restaurant chain). “We’re inviting guests to visit Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes throughout the month to try out some of their favorite dishes and taste our new recipes,”
Scharff, added, “Our everyday all-you-care-to-eat and convenient one-price format means you can try out any combination of the new potato menu items along with a variety of made-from-scratch soups and salads, freshly baked breads and muffins and tasty desserts to enjoy a complete meal that’s inexpensive.”
