  Press Release7/10/2009 Local Easter Seals Affiliates to Receive a Sweet DonationCookie Sales Raise $26,000 for Local ChaptersMEDIA ADVISORY FOR THURSDAY, JULY 31, 2009 LOCAL EASTER SEALS AFFILIATES TO RECEIVE A SWEET DONATION WHAT: With the help of Sweetie, their giant smiling tomato mascot, employees from the Chicago Sweet Tomatoes locations will present a check for $26,000 to Easter Seals. The money, which was raised from the sale of thousands of bags of the restaurants’ famous homemade chocolate chip cookies during the month of June. One hundred percent of proceeds from the cookie sales will benefit local Easter Seals affiliates, Easter Seals DuPage and the Fox Valley Region and Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago. Employees, staff, volunteers and Easter Seals kids and their families from the Chicagoland area will also be on hand to celebrate the donation.
